3FM’s fitness challenge, Fat2Fit, has been recognized and nominated for the 2018 prestigious HELEH Africa Awards.
The second edition of the Awards which is scheduled to come off on Thursday, July 12 at Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, Accra, nominates the fitness challenge in the Africa Health Advocacy Social Event of the year category.
The HELEH Africa Awards also known as the People’s Choice Practitioners Honours is an annual national medico-social initiative geared towards celebrating excellence and rewarding diligence and hard work in the medical sector.
The Awards was launched in 2017 by His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II as a distinct “platform” for medical professionals, medical institutions and associate entities to network and share trending techniques, while publicly identifying and appreciating the most distinguished.
3FM’s Fat2Fit Challenge was nominated after a broad consultation with the jury and various industry players.
Organizers say they are confident that ‘Fat2Fit Challenge’ is deserving of the nomination and that it will encourage the event to deliver more towards ensuring the medical field remains the most dignified profession in the country.
The Fat2Fit Challenge is a partnership event between Fat2Fit Ghana and 3FM 92.7, an Accra-based lifestyle radio station, and has been running for five seasons now.
The fifth edition of the Fat2Fit Challenge, a 60-day lifestyle programme designed to help Ghanaians lose weight through behavioural lifestyle changes, ended on Saturday, April 21 with a call for National Fitness Day..
