Gospel artiste and minister, Selawe, is set to release a new music single today titled Show Me How.
It is the second of series of singles, covers and medleys to be released under #TheJourneyProject headlined by Selawe, real name Stephanie Adenyo.
The single, will not only be an addition to the list of Ghanaian gospel songs already in the system but provide inspiration for both believers and the ‘unsaved’ seeking an intimate relationship with God.
Lyrics of the song are primarily born out of the desire to reciprocate the love of God experienced through the gift of salvation. Further lyrical expansion is inspired by the Psalms with pieces of other Biblical references relevant to the theme.
A perfect worship song, it is sung in typical urban English with a soothing and almost raw instrumentation. The instrumentation only guides the song and does not obscure the lyrics.
That, the producers say, is to have listeners feed more on the lyrics and inspiration in the whole production more than anything else.
Stephanie’s journey into music stems from her deep love for the propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and has for the past 8 years, used her voice and ministrations to advance this cause.
Since releasing Only He Knows in 2011, she has gone on to do a cover for Cindy Thompson’s Kyere Me and has ministered at various gospel programmes and church events as often as she is graciously given the opportunity to.
