Some members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Central Region are up in arms against the regional chairman, Robert Kutin Jnr.
According to them, Mr Kutin Jnr is working against the fortunes of the party in the 2020 elections.
They claim the recent suspension of Central Region First Vice Chairman Horace Ekow Ewusi as per a “faceless petition” is a means to intimidate some members.
Addressing journalists on Thursday, July 18, a constituency member of Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese, Amos Nyarko, asked President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to call Mr Kutin to order.
He is leading the Coalition of Concerned Members of NPP to submit a petition to the National Executive Committee over the regional chairman’s actions.
The party protesters carried placards to register their anger.
