Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has raised eyebrows as to whether or not the Asaase Sound Clash would come off.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, September 10, 2020, the celebrated artiste posted that “another the VGMA strategy for a clash. Trying so hard to make their favorite win in fact I’m not even doing this anymore for your information. Nonsense”.
The programme is a live battle between dancehall acts Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
The two artistes are expected to lyrically battle it out to show who has a better lyrical game.
If Shatta Wale’s tweet is anything to go by, the event which has already gathered public appeal may not come off.
The Asaase Sound Clash is an initiative by Asaase Radio to entertain fans in this pandemic period while fostering unity between the two artistes.
The clash is expected to come off on Saturday, September 12.
This isn’t the first time the two artistes will be facing off in a lyrical battle.
They have faced off before with Stonebwoy winning the battle.
