Davido fires Desmond Elliot over #ENDSARS comment
Nigerian musician David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reacted to politician Desmond Elliot’s video on social media.
In a video circulating on social media, Mr Elliot asked Nigerian celebrities to be wary with their comments on social media.
He stated that “it was enough of the hate already. Social media has its negatives and Nigerian youth must be wary of how they use it in light of the recent happenings in Nigeria”.
He was speaking on the floor of the House of the Senate on Thursday, October 29.
Reacting to this, Nigerian singer Davido took to his Twitter page to say “Desmond Elliot just destroyed all the precious childhood memories he gave us in movies”.
His comments come after social media users expressed disgust at comments made by Desmond Elliot about the happenings in Nigeria.
A product of Godfatherism is speaking.
