Black Queens will face Nigeria in October after Caf postponed the Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) qualifiers.
The west African rivals were initially scheduled to meet in June, as well as 21 other games.
But Caf has moved the games to October as venues and COVID-19 related makes the qualifiers next month impossible.
Caf in a letter to members said: “The reasons of the postponement were based on the actual conditions of certain stadiums in Africa and the restrictions related to COVID-19.
“The 1st round will now take place in the FIFA window of 18-26 October and the 2nd round will take place in the FIFA window of February 14-23, 2022” the letter, signed by Anthony Baffoe, CAF Deputy General Secretary in charge of football and development, stated.
The tournament serves as a route to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
