Co-chair of the ad hoc committee probing Ken Ofori-Atta, the Minister of Finance, Kobina Tahir Hammond says he does not fancy titles like ‘Honourable’ in referring to colleagues.
He explained that those protocols will not be much referred to during sittings of the committee.
He made this known on Tuesday, November 15, when the eight-member committee constituted by the Speaker began sitting.
He consequently referred to the Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, one of the movers of the motion, by his first name.
The Adansi-Asokwa Member of Parliament (MP), however, intermittently referred to the Tamale South colleague as Minority Leader.
The committee is expected to end public sitting on Friday, November 18 with the rest of the days given to drafting a report for the Speaker.
