Graduates from the Nobel International Business School (NIBS) have been challenged by the CEO of Precise Financial Systems, Dr. Yele Okeremi to use the knowledge they’ve acquired to help boost national development.
He said this while giving the keynote address during the school’s 4th congregation held in Accra.
Dr. Okeremi said the country needs more people with creative and innovative ideas to better manage and harness the resources of the country.
“The question is, who will you be? What changes will you make? Is your degree going to make the world a better place or will you remain the same way the world has been or even worst?”
“Africa remains the same way it is not because we don’t have people who are very intelligent, we have several of them. We have smarter and intelligent people but why are we where we are?”
46 of the graduates graduated in Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with 18 in Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA).
Assistant Academic Dean and DBA program, Dr. Hod Anyigba, said the 4th NIBS graduation has been made possible by the strategic partnerships formed with top institutions in Ghana and abroad.
He said NIBS’ research-focused educational model requires students and participants to focus on compelling organisational challenges and seek answers to insightful questions.
