Some residents of Ho have given the government a two-week ultimatum to fix abandoned roads and bridges started some three years ago in the area.
According to the residents who took to the streets of Ho to express their grievances, the government has failed to complete some road and bridge projects after several deadlines given by the Assembly and Urban Roads.
In a press statement, the group said the unmotorable nature of their roads has been a result of shoddy work done by the contractor.
The group, however, is threatening to embark on a series of demonstrations if the roads are not fixed within 2 weeks.
Meanwhile, a statement from the Ho Municipal Assembly stated that contractors are back on site and working to make the roads better.
