Seven persons have been arrested by the Police for firing indiscriminately during the installation of a paramount Chief at Sampa traditional area, Nana Samgba Gyafla II, on November 30, 2023, in the Bono Region.
“Seven people sustained gunshot wounds as a result of the indiscriminate firing and one person died,” the police said in a statement.
The police in the statement added that two single-barrel guns were retrieved.
All the suspects are in custody, assisting the investigation.
