Accra, March 21, GNA - Augustine Quansah, Immigration Ladies coach, has attributed his team's 1-0 victory over Samaria Ladies in the Normalization Committee Women's Special Competition (NCWSC) to team work.
Coach Quansah's charges recorded their first win in the competition courtesy Patience Narh's strike a minute from recess and the coach said, the players were determined to amass all points.
In an interview with the GNA Sports after the match, he said, Immigration Ladies were poised to win the match-day - four NC Women's Special competition.
"We always play better, but at the end of the day, we lost. But against Samaria Ladies, my players told themselves, they'll win," he said.
Immigration Ladies will play Police Ladies who have three victories and a loss to their credit, however, the coach is confident his side would emerge winners saying "against Police Ladies, it's a must win and we will beat them. My players are confident and I know they'll make it."
On his part, the win against Samaria was a morale booster and believes Immigration would qualify to the next stage of the competition.
He added that, introducing former Black Queens player Adjoa Bayor was tactical hence the win.
