Jordan Ayew will be 'happiest man on earth' if Swansea City avoid the drop

Jordan Ayew says he will be the 'happiest person in the world' if Swansea City avoid relegation this season.

The Swans have endured a frustrating campaign as they lie just above the drop zone.

City's chances of avoiding the drop were stymied as they were held to a goalless draw by relegation rivals Middlesbrough on a frustrating afternoon at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.

And Ghana striker Jordan Ayew is keen to see the side survive in the top-flight.

“If we win games, we will still be in the Premier League next season," he told Jack Magazine

“And if that happens, I will be the happiest person in the world.”

Swansea are just one point and one place above the drop zone ahead of the midweek game against Tottenham.
