Ghana's Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah has revealed inheriting a debt toll of GHC51m from the previous administration after assuming office a little over a year ago.
At his maiden Meet the Press session held at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Information, the outspoken Sport Minister revealed that he inherited a bleeding account that was crying for help from the previous Minister Hon. Nii Lante Vanderpuye.

"I am sorry to report to you that we met a negative balance of GHC51m, that is the debt we inherited," he said.

"As it's said, you come and fix challenge, so we are fixing the challenge through creative means," he stated.
