Former Crystal Palace striker Andy Johnson is backing Jordan Ayew to turn the corner after his goal-drought since joining the side.
The Ghanaian is yet to score for the Eagles since he joined Palace from Swansea City.
The 27-year-old received massive backlash after the side's 2-1 defeat at Bournemouth amid his continuous struggles for goals.
But former Eagles striker Andy Johnson, who netted 21 times at Selhurst Park during the 2004-5 season, is backing the Ghanaian to turn the corner.
“Ayew has just joined and I think he has done fantastic. He works hard and I think when he gets his first goal he might go on a goal-scoring streak. It just takes something like that,” Johnson, is quoted by told Football London.
Roy Hodgson's men have struggled for goals in the absence of crocked striker Christian Benteke.
