Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Coffie returned to the starting line up of Sporting Gijon to score his first goal for the club in their 2-1 win over Granada.
The former Genoa midfielder opened the scoring for Gijon in the win over Granada away from home.
Granada started the game in an explosive creating several chances to take the lead.
But it took just 14 minutes to stop the pressure form Granda after Isaac Coffie notched in the opener.
Moments later the home side regained control of the game, piling pressure on Sporting but they held on to finish the half with the slim lead.
Adrian Ramos leveled for Granada in the 83rd minute as the game headed for a draw.
But just when it looked like the home side had secured a draw Alvafro Traver scored with the final touch of the game to give Sporting Gijon an away victory.
