Asamoah Gyan scored a stupendous header to sealed victory for Kayserispor in their 1-0 win over Akhisar Belediyespor on Sunday in the Turkish Super Lig.
The Ghana captain was introduced in the 70th minute to replace Umut Bulut and with a quarter of an hour left he found the back of the net.
It was his first league goal of the season in six appearances.
Gyan has struggled for game time this season partly due to injuries and also dropping down the pecking order.
His countryman Bernard Mensah played the entire duration of the match.
On the opposite side, Manu climbed off the bench in the 65th minute to replace Jeremy Bokila.
The win helped Kayserispor to move to 13th place; four points above the relegation zone.
