Hearts of Oak Public Relations Officer Opare Addo has clarified reports that former Managing Director of the club Mark Noonan exit from the club has nothing to do with the Umbro deal.
Hearts of Oak officially announced the resignation of the American on Friday.
Speaking on the issue Opare Addo said it came as a surprise to the club on the resignation of Mark Noonan as they were not expecting this to happen when he left the country.
"It has come as a huge surprised to all of us at Hearts Of Oak when we got Mark Noonan’s message.
"He attributes to family reasons and lack of domestic football in the country as the reasons he has resigned, he told Happy FM.
"The Umbro deal will happen,Mark Noonan resignations has nothing to do with the Umbro deal, he revealed.
Frederick Moore has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the club and begins work on 18 March 2019
