TSG Hoffenheim defender Kasim Nuhu is optimistic of their chances of qualifying for Europe despite their inconsistent performance in the ongoing season.
Die Kraichgauer are sitting 9th position, two places adrift of the last spot for UEFA Europa League qualification, with 38 points after 26 games.
Julian Nagelsmann’s side are however facing an uphill to achieve their target after picking two wins in their last five games.
But Nuhu believes they are capable of rescuing the situation to qualify for Europe.
“Although the draw in Stuttgart was a setback after beating Nuremberg, we are ready for the final spurt and still want to qualify for the European Cup, of course, as we focus on each individual match after the internationals and want to start the series needed. We still believe in our opportunity.”
He has provided one assist in 10 matches for the club this term.
