Midfielder Grace Asantewaa was named the 2019 Most Valuable Player for Spanish side EDF Logrono despite joining the club in September.
Asantewaa has been influential for the Spanish Primera Iberdrola side with 12 appearances and one assist for Logrono.
The 19-year-old Ghana international Tweeted: ''How good it feels been named a club MVP....????????????????????????????????????????. Thank God for a successful first round in the Spanish Primera Iberdrola ??.''
Asantewaa is a serial winner having won the Women’s Premier League and Cup double twice in 2015-16 and 2016-2017 seasons.
She won the Normalization Committee Women's Special Competition was adjudged the Best Player of the tournament.
