Former Ghana international Masahudu Alhassan has won a court case against controversial Italian agent Leornado Guisti over contractual issues.
Guisti, who is head of LG Group SRL, dragged the left back to the Italian Football Federation [FIGC] for breach of contract and demanded a compensation of 250,000 euros.
But the 27-year-old appealed and accused Guisti of forging his signature to make a case for himself when both parties had agreed to sever ties on mutual consent four years ago.
Early this month [December 2019], a Tribunale di Pistoia found Gusiti guilty and awarded a cost of 23,000
''What happened was that I reached mutual agreement with Leonardo Guisti to terminate my contract in 2015 and we had witnesses so I was surprised when I received a letter from the Italian FA saying I have breached my contract,'' Alhassan exclusively told GHANASoccernet.com
''My family here decided to appeal this shock decision and finally, after four years we won the case so now I can get my career back on track.''
Alhassan is available on a free agent after ending his contract with Saudi second-tier side Al Ain in January this year.
He was a member of Ghana's squad at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations co-hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea where he made his tournament debut.
Alhassan was signed by Genoa in 2012 and went on to make four Serie A appearances.
He was later loaned out to Serie B sides Novara and Latina before being snapped up by Udinese who also farmed him out to Perugia for more first team experience.
