Ghana forward Joe Dodoo says he is not perturbed by playing in front of a large crowds due to his time with Rangers in the Scottish League.
The Stadium of Light will host the encounter between Sunderland and Bolton in this Boxing Day fixture in the English Football League One.
According to the 24-year old he has the experience of playing at more intimidating venues thus he will not be bothered by the attitude and reception from the home fans.
“Honestly, big atmospheres and crowds has never worried me”, he told Bolton News.
“I don’t pay attention. I don’t think the lads will worry about it, either.
“When you play up at Rangers you can’t hear anything but noise. You don’t have time to examine what is going on around you.
“You have to try and focus on what you are there to do, what you have worked on in training, don’t lose that.", he added.
