Ghana international Mohammed Kudus was on target for Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night, helping the team to secure a 3-0 victory over Slavia Prague in the UEFA Champions League.
The talented attacker started the Round 5 fixture and played 58 minutes before making way for forward Mathys Tel.
On the matchday, Spurs took the lead in the 26th minute through an own goal, as David Zima misjudged a header from a corner and sent the ball past his own goalkeeper.
The advantage grew early in the second half when referee Benoit Bastien awarded a penalty to Tottenham after a VAR check. Kudus stepped up in the 50th minute and confidently struck the ball down the middle to double the lead.
Tottenham wrapped up the win in the 79th minute from the spot once again. Xavi Simons’ penalty was partially saved by Jindrich Stanek, but the effort still found its way into the bottom right corner to complete a commanding performance.
With his goal on Tuesday night, Mohammed Kudus is gradually getting back to his best form. He will be key to any success by Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the 2025/26 football season.
