Four Ghanaian coaches have been selected to participate in the UEFA B Licence Coaching Course, organised by the Football Association of Wales (FAW).
National U-15 coach Fatawu Salifu will join Abdulai Gazale, Godwin Ashitey Attram and Winfred Dormon for the programme, which will take place in Wales from Thursday, January 29 to Friday, February 20, 2026.
The initiative forms part of the growing cooperation between the FAW and the Ghana Football Association (GFA), focused on advancing coach education and creating long-term football development opportunities. The FAW is fully funding the participation of the four coaches.
This collaboration grants Ghanaian coaches direct access to Wales’ respected coaching education pathway, offering valuable exposure to modern technical and tactical training methods.
Their involvement aligns with the GFA’s âPower to the Youth’ strategy aimed at developing coaching capacity, improving youth training structures and strengthening the country’s football foundation for the future.
The opportunity represents another positive step in enhancing Ghana’s technical expertise, with the expectation that the coaches will return to share their experiences and contribute to the growth of the domestic game.
