Bechem United assistant coach Mallam Yahaya has indicated that there will be a lot of squad reshuffling in the upcoming Ghana Premier League matches to ensure good results.
The Hunters have struggled to compete since the 2025/26 season commenced and currently sit 17th in the league table.
Amid the team’s efforts to climb out of the regulation zone, Mallam Yahaya has identified the overdependence on the team’s first eleven players as a major issue.
Speaking after Bechem United defeated Eleven Wonders 1-0 during Week 14, the assistant coach noted that it is time to give chances to fringe players in their quest to win more matches.
“For Bechem United, we are now putting things in order. There will be difficulties, but with time, things will get better. Relying on just 12 players does not help the team. We have about 40 players, and we must reshuffle to try other players,” Mallam Yahaya said.
The Bechem United assistant coach added, “If we can bring competition into the team, we will get a good team, and the results will start coming.”
Up next for Bechem United, the team will host Swedru All Blacks in their Week 15 league encounter.
The Hunters will be aiming to amass all three points to push to climb out of the relegation zone.
