Walton & Hersham have added English-Ghanaian forward Francis Amartey to their attacking options, a signing that brings proven non-league experience and fresh energy to the Swans’ frontline.
The 26-year-old arrives from Bracknell Town, where he made 23 appearances this season before moving on at the start of the New Year.
Amartey’s journey has taken him across several well-known non-league sides, including Aldershot Town, Weymouth, Slough Town and Hampton & Richmond Borough, giving him a strong grounding in the intensity and demands of the English pyramid.
He also carries valuable professional experience from his time in Scotland with Ayr United and from the academy system at Birmingham City, where he refined his technical ability and movement in the final third.
Walton & Hersham see Amartey as a player ready to make an immediate impact as they push on in the Southern League Premier South.
The forward is already in contention for selection and could make his debut in the squad to face Gosport Borough, offering fans an early glimpse of what he can bring to this ambitious side.
