Karela United appoints Awulae Agama Tuu Agyan II as president

Karela United have appointed Omahene of Gwiraman Traditional Area and President of Nzemanle Council Awulae Agama Tuu Agyan II as club president and chairman of the Board of Trustees.

According to a statement, the former accountant will put together a new administration for the club and the board.

''I feel honored with this recognition, we will do our best to make our dear land proud again,'' the traditional ruler said.

''Football is the passion of the nation and am happy to be appointed to head this wonderful brand.''

Karela United are preparing to play in their maiden Ghana Premier League season next year after emerging champions in Zone II of the Division One League. Read Full Story
