Despite the loss, the Ghanaians have still qualified for the quarter-finals having earlier beaten Benin 9-0 a in their opening game on Monday.
The Black Wonders also drew 1-1 with Nigeria on Wednesday, which earned them a slot in the quarter-finals at the six-nation tourney.
In their opening match, Nana Amoako and Eric Nyame recorded a hat-trick each before Richard Abaka, Gayheart clayman, Ghansah Joseph scored a goal each to make it 9-0 for Ghana.
The Ghanaians are looking forward to defending the trophy they won two years ago when Ghana hosted the sub-regional competition which brings together eight other West African nations.
Meanwhile, hosts Togo were beaten 3-0 by Mali in the Group A opening game.
