The staff, who received their June salary from the government last week, looked hale and hearty when they resurfaced at the GFA offices this morning.
Those who spoke to the Graphic Sports Online on condition of anonymity could not hide their joy after finally returning to post.
They explained that they received calls from Ministry of Youth and Sports to report to work on Thursday.
Their presence coincided with the expected announcement of the much-awaited Normalisation Committee for Ghana Football by a three-man FIFA delegation led by Veron Mosengo Omba, FIFA Director for Member Associations.
The FIFA team which also includes Amaju Pinnick, acting CAF 1st Vice President, and Nicola Luca, FIFA Manager for Member Associations, scheduled a press conference to name the Normalisation Committee at 10 am. However, the meeting has delayed for two-and-a-half hours already.
The GFA staff were affected by the overnment injunction on football activities on June 12 this year and have since been at home. Read Full Story
