He will be teaching Public Policy at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS).
Mr Terkper announced his new appointment on Twitter.
"I have just been appointed a part-time lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School," he tweeted.
"Looking forward to exciting interactions with students during my Public Policy lectures," he added.
"In 2017 I did same as a Corporate Executive in Residence at UGBS similar to a visiting lecturer," Mr Terkper served as a Deputy Finance Minister between 2009 and 2013 under President J.E.A. Mills. President John Mahama promoted him to the substantive post of Finance Minister in January 2013, a position he held until January 6m, 2017.
