It will be recalled that the GFA Secretariat located in Accra was declared a crime scene by the Police following an explosive documentary on corruption in Ghana football by controversial journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
The GFA premises was inaccessible to staff and the public and guarded by Police officers of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) until September 13 when it was opened for the first time in 97 days for the announcement of the Normalisation Committee.
Graphic Online understands that the Normalisation Committee will use the Secretariat as their base of operations. GFA staff who were not implicated in the corruption scandal are also expected to return to their posts.
Normalisation Committee
FIFA on September 13 nominated four persons to constitute a Normalization Committee that will run Ghana football and organise the election of new executives of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The Committee led by business Dr Kofi Amoah also has former Airtel Ghana CEO, Lucy Quist, Lawyer Dua Adonten (Former Kotoko Board member) and Naa Odofoley Nortey (a Board member of the Attorney General's Department - Legal Aid Scheme) as members. Read Full Story
