In fact, they believe their involvement in many leadership decisions would have spared Ghana some of the afflictions the country has suffered; including the deadly Coronavirus which is fast spreading globally, with Ghana no exception.
Nevertheless, it's not too late they say, if Ghana's leaders will duly acknowledge them, give them a significant place in governance, call on them and endorse them in times of troubles, Ghana can be saved from its current predicament.
That aside, constant cleansing of the land, through libation and traditional customs and practices will exempt Ghana from any future evil or calamity.
These were arguments made by members of African traditional group; Afrikania Mission, when they took their turn on this edition of Ghanaweb's '#SayItLoud' show.
Represented by Fafafe Agbodzi-Sewornu, National Youth Chair of the Mission, they among other things, are chasing a petition and strongly demanding for a national holiday; the NATIONAL LIBATION DAY, like the two other main religions in Ghana; Islam and Christianity have.
