The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has said the novel coronavirus will surely push economies across the global to radically adopt measures to make them self-reliant.
He is, therefore, calling on Africa in particular to be ready to face that future, where it would have to produce its own goods and services, like other economies.

It will usher in more self-reliance by countries in the production of goods and services. We in Africa have to get ready for this future.” By Maxwell Ofori
