Project-Ghana, a London-based Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), has presented hospital equipment and consumables to the Kwadaso Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Hospital to enhance quality healthcare.
The equipment includes hand gloves, theater equipment for surgical procedures, hospital beds, aprons, a Laparoscopic machine meant for surgical operations without cutting or opening, and other numerous equipment and consumables.
Mr. Kwadwo Densi Amankwah, Project Manager of the organisation, explained that the initiative was by Adventist health professionals in England to assist some health facilities in Ghana.
He disclosed that the initiative would not be a nine-day wonder, but that they would keep assisting needy health facilities in Ghana as their quota in promoting quality health care to Ghanaian citizens, and equip the facilities to save lives.
Dr. Randolph Baah Adu, Senior Specialist Obstetrician Gynecologist and Medical Director of the Kwadaso SDA Hospital, expressed his profound gratitude to Project-Ghana and all those whose contributions made the initiative successful.
According to him, the gesture would go a long way in helping the facility improve quality healthcare to its clients.
