Bechem United won their first home match of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season beating WAFA 1-0 at the Nana Gyeabour Park on Saturday, 21 November, 2020.
Hafiz Kontoki headed in a cross from the right side in the 26th minute to collect the points at stake.
The Hunters are now unbeaten in two matches after drawing their opener at Liberty Professionals.
WAFA have being good performers at home but seem to lose almost all their away games, which the connoisseurs of the game find to be very strange. One can’t tell if it is due to the poor nature of some of the pitches, compared to the lush astro turf at Sogakope, the home of WAFA.
If WAFA will want to fight for the league title, then they must up their away performance.
