Nana Biriberiba Boateng, Chief Executive Officer of Christal Mining Consult and Christal A&B, has donated ECG, Ultrasound Scan Machines, and accessories to the Juaben Municipal Government Hospital.
The medical equipment was procured at the cost of GH¢65,000, and was his personal contribution to the hospital’s operations.
The gesture forms part of the corporate social responsibility of the companies.
Nana Boateng, who is the Biriberibahene, a sub-Chief of the Asante Juaben Traditional Area, while making the presentation last Tuesday, said it was his expectation that the donation would contribute to quality healthcare delivery.
According to him, it was an obligation to him, as a citizen, to contribute to the growth and promotion of health in his area of jurisdiction.
An elated Nana Boateng urged all well-meaning Ghanaians and natives of the area to contribute towards the effective operation of the health facility.
The Biriberibahene was accompanied by the Juaben Gyaasehene, Nana Yentumi; Nkwantananhene Nana Baah Acheamfuor; Akyeamehene Nana Adjei Acheampong; Dwantuafuohene Nana Adjei Twum, and the Juaben Dabehene, Nana Amofa Daatuo II.
Dr. Kofi Buah Bosque-Hamilton, Medical Superintendent of the Juaben Government Hospital, received the items on behalf of the management and board of the facility.
He thanked the donors for the support, which, he said, had come at the right time.
