Tema East NDC Dares NPP
The Tema East constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has vowed to annex the parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) which the latter has guarded jealously for the past 16 years.
The NDC won the maiden parliamentary election in the constituency in 1992, the tenure that ushered in the Fourth Republican Constitution, but lost it to the NPP in subsequent elections.
