Meteorological Agency Predicts Heavy Strong Winds, This Year
THE Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has predicted heavy rainfall with strong winds countrywide this year.
It said its research showed that regions in the coastal areas were likely to experience flooding.
Speaking at a forum in Accra on Friday, the head of the research of GMet, Mr. Charles Kweku Yorke said the rainfall pattern for the year which is normal to above normal was worrying for city dwellers but good for farming communities.
