Former Ghana Football Association vice President Fred Pappoe hopes to see Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng back in the Black Stars team.
The Las Palmas midfielder has been suspended after an alleged misconduct during Ghana’s 2014 World Cup campaign.
The player has been out of the team for the past three years. Many Ghanaian football fans have been calling for the return of the 29-year-old who was named in the La Liga team of the season after scoring 10 goals in the Spanish League.
Fred Pappoe is urging the Football Association to consider re-inviting the former AC Milan star into the Black Stars team.
“Kevin-Prince Boateng is doing well at his Club, I will be happy if the FA consider recalling him back to the Black Stars team,” he told GHone TV.
“But that is when the two parties settle their differences, I think they should settle issues with the player and invite him back to the National team.
“He is a good player and got a lot to offer the Black Stars, he is performing very well at Club level so I still think we need him back to the team.”
The Ghana Football Association has revealed Boateng will only be recalled to the National team should he show remorse and apologize for his action.
