Sarkodie has stated that the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo believes in his vice, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Rapper Sarkodie’s highly publicised “Highest” album is finally here and tens of reviews are already flooding the internet, newspapers and TVs.
Even in less than 24 hours, the album topped iTunes GH chart and later dominated the global charts.
Fans and critics are already decoding his lyrics, trying to find some revelations he made on the album.
Sarkodie made a lot of revelations on the album but what caught our attention is when he decided to dedicate one of his bars to politics.

In his title track called “Highest”, Sarkodie stated that the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo believes in his vice, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
In the 2:59 minutes Hip-hop track, Sarkodie delivered his usual fast rap saying: “?ne?ma mienu na ebetumi ada wo nsa/Watch ne handcuff/Nea wo p? s? wode k? t? tuo no, sesa na fa t? laptop/Cos chale ?nky? na nipa adi amia/Nti y?b?y? dea ehia/Ghanafo? mo ngye me nni na mo mfa ahenky? no mma me s?nea Nana Addo believe Bawumia”.
It’s unclear whether Sarkodie meant his verse or was just trying to rhyme with that verse but hey, this is music. After all, if Nana Addo hadn’t believed in Bawumia, he wouldn’t have given him the chance to run the presidency.
