

Akosua Puni’s Italian club are on verge of losing being member of the Italian Football Federation.
An Italian court has declared Akosua Puni’s club Como bankrupt, after they had already been demoted to Serie D for the same offence.
Puni wife of Ghanaian midfielder Michael Essien made the headlines when he bought Calcio Como at an auction for €237,000, but he has been battling to meet the financial needs of running the club.
She was charged of delaying the salaries of the players and workers of the club among others and the club consequently demoted to Serie D
And it appears her woes are being deepened as an Italian court’s verdict stated that Como will be subjected to seizing to be recognized by the Italian Football Federation.
It was also revealed that Akosua Puni owes a whopping sum of €90,000 for using facilities at the Orsenigo’s sports center.
