President Akufo-Addo has said his government is committed to devote 1% of GDP for Research and Development in the short term and increase to 2% in the long term as part of efforts to boost research in the country.
The President said this Saturday when speaking at the 18th, 19th and 20th graduation ceremony of the All Nations University College in Koforidua.
The President also stated that, government as part of its zeal to improve the skillful human resource of the country is committed to prioritize Technical and Vocational Education.
He has also directed the Education Ministry to draw elaborate Science programme that will be infused from the cradle of the education system in Ghana.
