The Ghana Water Company Limited in the Eastern Region would begin a rationing programme, effective Monday, May 25, for residents in and around Koforidua.
Demand for water has increased due to usage amid the Covid-19 relief provided by government.
Water pumps are experiencing low pressure and, in some parts, no flow in recent times.
Residents have been advised to store water anytime the taps flow.
A rationing schedule has been put out by GWCL for residents.
