The remaining four of the eight juvenile footballers, who died in the fatal road accident a few days ago, will be buried later today, Thursday, October 1.
The other four, who were Muslims, were buried a few days after the accident in accordance with Islamic customs.
Offinso, as our Ashanti Region correspondent reports, is solemn and in a state of mourning.
The footballers were returning from a registration exercise in Kumasi when the accident happened and eight of them lost their lives after the bus they were in landed in the Offinso River.
The news came as a shock to Ghanaians.
Commiserations from the highest offices including the Flagstaff House, CAF and FIFA have been sent to the families.
President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kurt Okraku and his Executive Council dedicated their monthly allowance to them.
Government has taken all the costs of the funeral.
