The Savannah Regional Coordinating Council Public Relations Officer, Muftawu Habib has been recalled by the Information Service Department (ISD) over the recent impasse between the youth of Buipe in the Savannah region and the paramount chief of the area Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II.
In a statement released by the ISD of the Ministry of Information, Habib was asked to hand over his schedules to the administrative head of the SRCC and report to the regional information officer.
His recall comes some 24 hours after police in the region declared him wanted over his alleged involvement in a recent demonstration in Buipe and Damongo by some youth groups.
He is also the national PRO of the Gonjaland youth association.
