The Director of Communications of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Richard Ahiagbah has told the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to call their supporters to order.
In a post on X, Mr Ahiagbah states that the NDC supporters are determined to disrupt the work of the Electoral Commission (EC).
He alleged that NDC supporters are assaulting some NPP parliamentarians who have won in their respective constituencies.
According to him, these MPs-elect should not fear the actions of the aggrieved NDC supporters, as the party is available to defend them.
“The NDC must call its members, who are determined to overrun the Electoral Commission, to order, lest they mar the beauty of the 2024 general elections and their historic victory,” he stated.
“To the NPP parliamentary candidates who are being unduly attacked, harassed, and intimidated by the overzealous NDC supporters, stand firm, knowing that you have the full backing of the party.”
He added, “We are the New Patriotic Party, down but not out. We shall rise again. Kukrudu!!!”
