“When there’s an issue, the only way to resolve it is to speak the truth. As for me, when there is an issue, I open up on all truth so that in future when anybody hears the matter, they can defend me.
“I will not lie. I was working with her and also, we were dating although I know it’s not professional and I will not advise all my fellow artiste managers to do same.
“When you are working with a female artiste, try as much not to allow her to cause your anger because it will bring you trouble. So yes, there was love between us,” he disclosed.
He added: “The fight wasn’t about work or personal one, sorry to say it was about our affair and relationship. I know that saying this means I have admitted to my wife of having an affair.”
What happened?
Monique Spence, a Canadian musician who was signed to Mr. Logic’s record label in May 2023, accused the artiste manager of defrauding her and threatening her life is she steps foot in Ghana after having travelled to Canada in June last year.
In a video shared on social media, Monique Spence alleged that she was made to bear the cost of production, which wasn’t the initial agreement.
These allegations come after Monique Spence claimed that Mr. Logic, who also served as her manager, defrauded her under the guise of promoting her music career.
Red Panther Music Productions subsequently denied the claims by Monique, insisting that the artiste agreed in the contract to bear all service and production cost.
“Monique Spence professionally signed a managerial contract with the record house, which obliges all services and production costs provided by the label to be borne by the artiste until the end of duration,” the statement explained.
