Thomas Partey, Arsenal
Thomas Partey was on the scoresheet as Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw against Brentford on Saturday afternoon.
Despite being deployed out of his favored midfield role, the Ghanaian international continued his impressive form from the midweek performance against Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals at the Emirates.
The goal marked Partey’s fourth league goal of the season for the Gunners, taking his league tally to six goal contributions (four goals, two assists),his best goalscoring season in the Premier League since joining Arsenal( 2020/21 – 0 goals, 2021/22 – 2 goals, 2022/23 – 3 goals ,2023/24 – 0 goals
2024/25 – 4 goals).
Caleb Yirenkyi, FC Nordsjaelland
Caleb Yirenkyi scored for FC Nordsjaelland in their 5-2 win over Randers FC. The 19-year-old’s goal in the 60th minute extended Nordsjaelland’s lead, highlighting his talent and potential. Yirenkyi now has two goals in 11 league games, making a strong case for himself as one of Ghana’s brightest emerging talents.
Emmanuel Toku, AEL Limassol
Emmanuel Toku scored the late winner for AEL Limassol in their 3-1 victory over Nea Salamis. Emmanuel Toku struck the late goal to seal the win for AEL Limassol to dash any hopes of comeback from the home side who were hoping to grab something from the game. The strike was the Ghanaian international’s second goal of the season and it prove worthy as it sealed the win for the away side, moving AEL Limassol to eighth place with 36 points.
Emmanuel Boateng, Gaziantep
Emmanuel Boateng scored his third goal of the season in Gaziantep’s 2-1 win over Hatayspor. Boateng’s clinical finish just before halftime leveled the score, and Gaziantep went on to win the match. Boateng has now netted three goals in 10 appearances, underlining his growing influence in the squad.
Clinton Doudou, Apollon Limassol
Clinton Doudou scored for Apollon Limassol in their 2-1 defeat to Aris Limassol. The former Bechem United defender opened the scoring, showcasing his skills in European football. Clinton has been pretty solid both defensively and offensively for his new club.
The Ghanian international has now made 16 appearances for Apollon in his debut season, scoring three goals.
