26th TGMA: No song should beat ‘Lomo Lomo’ in any category – KiDi

Ghanaian artistes have begun canvassing for votes in the past weeks following the announcement of nominees for this year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

While social media fans have also jumped on the momentum supporting their preferred artiste to win a particular category, some artistes have opted for Public Relations persons to push their agenda.

However, Ghanaian Afrobeat artiste, KiDi in a tweet on April 14 claimed that his song, ‘Lomo Lomo’ towers over any other song it has been nominated with.

“No song should beat Lomo Lomo in ANY category! But I need you to vote, my loves,” he wrote.

‘Lomo Lomo’ which features Black Sherif, was nominated in the following categories: Best Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste(s), Best Afrobeats Song, Collaboration of the Year, and the coveted Telecel Most Popular Song of the Year.

The 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards is slated for May 10, 2025 at the Grand Arena.
