Gambian president-elect Adama Barrow has been taunting current president, Yahya Jammeh with tweets to the citizens as he prepares to be inaugurated as the president of that country today Thursday January 19, 2017.
Mr Barrow’s inauguration will be held in Dakar, Senegal as Jammeh refuses to step down.
In a couple of tweets, Barrow has assured the Gambian people everything is set to fall in place.

He tweeted on Tuesday January 17, 2017.
My dearest Gambians — the presidency of Yahya Jammeh is officially over. The new era of Gambia is here at last. #NewGambia

He tweeted at 11:59pm on Wednesday January 18th and on the morning of the 19th, he wrote:
I would like to inform you that the Inauguration Ceremony is going to take place at the Gambian Embassy in Dakar, Senegal. #Gambia pic.twitter.com/ofxlIpJChl

Meanwhile, ECOWAS troops made up of Senegalese soldiers as well as soldiers from Ghana, Nigeria have entered The Gambia on midnight Wednesday
