Security Beefed Up

The Tamale Metropolitan Assembly and the Ghana Police Service have beefed up security in the Tamale metropolis to ensure that the incoming National Delegates Conference of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is held in calm and peaceful atmosphere. Information gathered by The Chronicle indicates that about 1200 police personnel and 100 soldiers would be deployed before, during and after the conference, which starts on Friday. Read Full Story
